We are absolutely delighted to announce that the schedule for this year’s Black Sunday Film Festival is now live!
The majority of the screenings will also be showing a selection of short films before the feature presentation starts. You’ll see the full details of what’s showing in the listings below.
We will also be hosting a post-festival opening night party on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at a brilliant local venue, which will be announced very soon. Everyone who has attended any film across the weekend is welcome to join us!
Tickets are now available for all screenings, starting at just £7 a ticket.
Thursday 1st May 2025
10:30am – 12:30pm: The Rebrand

Dir: Kaye Adelaide
Nicole, an eight months-pregnant bisexual videographer is hired by a lesbian lifestyle influencer couple to film a redemption documentary after they’ve been publicly cancelled, but Nicole quickly discovers that the couple have nefarious ulterior motives.

A group of murderous frat boys get more than they bargained for when they cross paths with a couple coming home from a wedding.

3:30pm – 5:30pm: Krazy House

Dirs: Steffen Haars & Flip Van der Kuil
Set in the 1990s, Krazy House follows religious homemaker Bernie and his sitcom family. When Russian workers in Bernie’s house turn out to be wanted criminals, Bernie has to man up and save his imprisoned family, while slowly going crazy.

Dir: Joy Wilkinson
Daniel has kept the keys to the places he’s lived in. Lena wants to use them – on the ultimate tour of London, a weekend of getting to know each other intimately in other people’s homes. This risky fantasy soon becomes a deadly threat.

Dir: Kati Kelli
a documentary film that compiles the online video work of artist Kati Kelli, exploring themes of identity, loneliness, and the complexities of self-presentation within the digital landscape, primarily focusing on her unique style of self-produced, often humorous, and sometimes disturbing online videos, which often feature her as the sole character in her bedroom setting.

Dir: Sergio Pereda
Craven, a streamer with thousands of followers on a live streaming platform, has prepared a very special stream for Halloween.

6:00pm – 8:00pm: The Severed Sun

Dir: Dean Puckett
Magpie lives in an isolated church community ruled over by her father, The Pastor. When a man is murdered, paranoia sets in and people start to whisper about a strange ‘Beast’ that lives in the forest.
